Overview

Fax2World Print Expert allows you to "convert" any document (created in program with printing support) into a graphic file in Tiff format. Thus you can transfer file from one computer to another or send by e-mail and open it with simple graphics viewer. The main advantage is that you can open document without the program in which it was created. Fax2World Print Expert is managed by Windows as an ordinary printer.

　

How to use

Fax2World Print Expert is managed by Windows as an ordinary printer. That means that after you install the program, you wouldn't see *.exe file you can launch. Instead of this you'll find a new printer called Fax2World Print Expert in your printers folder. Then using it is very simple - in any program with printing support press print button and select printer "Fax2World Print Expert".

EASY TO USE
 Fax from desktop – “Fax2World Print Expert” has a simple easy to use User Interface. Simply open your document and print the document to the “Fax2World Print Expert” printer driver the same way you print to “regular” printers. Next, select the recipient(s) you want to send the document to and you are ready to go.

 No needs to set up your owned sever, and exempt from maintenance; installation and configuration are also simplified.

ADDRESS BOOK FUNCTION
- With Outlook / Outlook Express / Netscape / Eudora / Notes Address Book Link-Up Function, so that users only need to choose the recipient from address book, instead of type the email addresses/fax numbers one by one(ie: E-mail, B-Fax, H-Fax)

Multi-Page File Support
 Store pages in a single Tiff file.

GRAPHIC Resolution
- TIF Image File Resolution (for fax):  Both document resolution and photo quality are also available for printing.  User selectable variable resolutions from document draft to photo quality by program.  The default is 204 x 196 (Fine FAX mode).
- JPG Image File Resolution (for email):  Users may specify the image resolution for JPG files printed by program.  The default is High, Medium & Low settings can reduce JPG file size.

RESULT NOTICE
 A result notice showing the fax result, number of pages, duration and time of receipt, would be returned to sender.

CENTRALIZATION
 Both incoming and outgoing documents are centralized; no matter faxes or emails, incoming or outgoing; one copy would be filed in your preset directory automatically.

COMPUTERIZATION
 Printing rules could be preset, to allot and print all faxes and emails to the set printer automatically once received.

ADD-ON OPTIONS
 Fax2World offers the perfect solution for Internet Fax; local/overseas users can send a fax to Hong Kong recipients at only HK$0.20/page.

FILE FORMATS (TIFF CCITT Group 4 & JPG(Color & Grey))
- Send JPG & TIF:
Program will print to both JPG & TIF format and automatically attach files to an email message for sending. (Remarks : When “Send JPG (Color)” was chose, program will print to JPG (Color) format. And when “Send JPG (Grey)” was chose, Program will print to JPG (Grey) format then.)
- Send JPG Only:
Program will print to JPG & TIF format; then the JPG file will be automatically attached to an email message for sending to the desired email address, and the other TIF file will also automatically attached to an email message for sending to Fax2World gateway only.

IMAGING CONTROL FEATURES (Advanced fax image half-tone control)
 - Ability to customize image intensity of any fax Custom Image Half-toning and intensity controls
- Ability to lighten/darken image output of any fax

PAGE ORIENTATION
 Specify page size, including support for additional page layouts (A4 is default).

ROTATE PAGE ORIENTATION
 Rotate by 0 degrees / Rotate 90 degrees counter-clockwise / Rotate 90 degrees clockwise / Rotate 180 degrees. Rotate page orientation by 90 degrees, resulting in a "landscape" orientation. This is particularly useful when printing PowerPoint presentations and Excel charts.

COMBINE DOCUMENTS
 When “Combine” was chose, multiple (2 or more) files/documents could be combined into a single TIF document. This can be used to create TIF documents from multiple applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and even other documents.

AUTO PRINT & PRINTing RULE FUNCTIONS
Printing rules could be preset, to allot and print all faxes and emails to the set printer automatically once received.
Support unlimited printer rule: -
- AutoPrint (TIF only): Print attached TIF file automatically accordingly to the print rules (print attached TIF only).
- AutoPrint: Print attached TIF file automatically accordingly to the print rules.
- Autolaunch: Displayed TIF file automatically after printing.

SECURE FAX
When "SecureFax" was chose; a copy of all printout will be sent to the default email address (requires supervisor password or admin supervisor password to change).

FILENAME GENERATION PROPERTIES
- Use the prefix and extension according to the data and time
- Set the output directory path for Image files

WATERMARK PROPERTIES
This feature places a watermark (for example, "Confidential" / "Approved” / “Date & Time") with up to 12 characters on each page of the document printed with program. The watermark may not be visible on documents that are rotated, contain backgrounds or in non-standard formats.

PAGE NUMBERS
Users may add page numbers on the bottom center of the last TIF & JPG files printed with program.

COVER PAGE FUNCTION
Ability to add the default cover page.

FAX MANAGEMENT
- Both incoming and outgoing documents are centralized; no matter faxes or emails, incoming or outgoing; one copy would be filed in your preset directory automatically.
- When Fax Management (TIF or PDF only) was chose, attached TIF file will automatically save to the default directory and must input the file data for file search. (eg: By Date, Time, Sender, Receiver, Domain, Type, Customer or Supplier, Filing By, Remarks, etc.).
